Our committee at Watsonia Pre-School

Enjoying the water slide at Watsonia Pre-SchoolWatsonia Pre-School is a non-for-profit organization managed by an elected Executive Committee made up of parent/carer volunteers. For the kindergarten to operate a General Committee consisting of ten people is also required.

Roles of the Executive Committee include President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. The Committees meet once a month.

Parents and Carer's can contribute to the kindergarten in other ways including with the following:

  • Fundraising and Social
  • Maintanence
  • Grants and Submissions
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Purchasing
  • Newsletter
  • Website

All parents and carer's of children at the kindergarten are encouraged to nominate to join the Executive or General committees.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Watsonia Pre-School is held in November of each year.
